A University in Canada has a potential cancer cure. You read that right this could be it. The problem is that the research is not funded as well as it could be. This is because the drug has no patent. This means that upon release it could have generic forms available right off the bat. So no one is investing in this research. We need to get the word out to everyone we know about this. We have to make up for the investors who won't step up. Been Geocaching

Here are some pics of Robyn and I after Gecocaching. It was a really good time. If you haven't looked into Geocaching I suggest that you do. The basics of Geocaching is to use a GPS to find various hidden containers around the world. When you find one you log it. You can also drop something off in it and take something with you. It is like a treasure hunt, although the stuff isn't exactly treasure. It sure can be fun though.

Global Warming, a global joke?

So there are even more scientists who think Global Warming is a crock. I'm glad to see these brave souls stand up and let the world know that maybe it isn't everything Al Gore says it is. In the article it mentions the existence of a community of skeptics. Not only will I have the link to the article but also another link showing that there is in fact such a community. Obama supports no secret ballot Union formation.

In another scheme, Obama supports allowing Unions to see who voted for Unionizing and who did not. Toss the secret ballots and allow Unions to form easier. Also it would make it easier because the organizers will be able to see from the cards who voted for and against. I'm sure they will be fair though and not bother those who voted against at all. I mean everyone knows that Unions are above strong arming anyone and would never force themselves where they weren't wanted.

As Obama says, "I will make it the law of the land when I'm president of the United States." I won't even get into the whole presidents can't make laws thing. Since the average person doesn't belong to a Union and 83% of 1,000 voters think this is a bad idea. Of course, since when does Obama really care what we think?

Nancy Pelosi Sucumbing to #dontgo Pressure

Last night on Larry King Nancy Pelosi indicated she would be willing to have a vote on offshore drilling. She said that it would have to be part of a larger package. This is just spin. The American Energy Act that the Republicans were trying to get a vote on before she adjourned the House for five weeks was a larger package. Now she can allow a vote on it and take part or all of the credit for a bill that wasn't her idea and that she didn't even want a vote on. For those of you in the #dontgo movement you wont be fooled but there are a lot of Americans who weren't a part of and didn't even know about the #dontgo movement. We can't let them be fooled either.

Of course we also can't let off the pressure until a vote actually happens. If we do these could just turn out to be so many words. Words without substance.
